What We Offer
Crown Reduction
Reduces the overall height or spread of the canopy while preserving a natural outline, often used to prevent overgrowth or reduce wind stress.
Crown Reshaping
Targets specific areas of the crown to improve balance, safety, or appearance without altering the whole tree.
Crown Thinning
Selective removal of small branches throughout the canopy to improve light, airflow, and balance. This reduces the overall weight on heavy limbs while keeping the tree’s natural shape.
Crown Lifting
Pruning lower branches to create more clearance beneath the tree. Often used to improve access for vehicles or pathways, and sometimes required to comply with local regulations such as the Highways Act 1980.
Deadwooding
Carefully removing dead or dying branches that could pose a hazard if they fall. Wherever safe to do so, we leave some natural deadwood in place to provide valuable habitat for wildlife.
Cable Bracing
A discreet technique used to strengthen weak unions and support large or vulnerable branches. Bracing systems or steel rods are installed between key points in the crown to spread weight and reduce the chance of splitting during storms, helping trees live longer while keeping people and property safe.
What Our Customers Say
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“Niklas has transformed the trees in our garden. They had been badly cut back in the past so were growing at odd angles. Niklas has brought them back into shape. He is very professional, knowledgeable and clearly cares about the health of the trees. On both occasions that he has carried out work here he has arrived on time and, as previous reviewers have stated, he leaves the site clean and tidy. We can definitely recommend Andersson Tree Care.””
